Baby it’s cold outside!
The weather has turned to the chilly side as we approach Winter. We have noticed that some children are coming to school without a jacket. Please make sure our little people don’t turn into icicles and have them bring a jacket that is labeled with first and last names. Thank you!
Our Holiday performances are coming up. 2-4th grades will be held Friday Dec.14th in the multi-purpose room after Friday flag ceremony at 8:30am. TK-1st grade will be Wednesday Dec 19th at 8:30am.
LAST MINUTE STOCKING STUFFERS
Linden Elementary has a convenient fundraiser to make your Holiday shopping easy. See the gift card selection in the office for your stocking stuffers or last gift items. Quick shopping at your fingertips!
Healthy Holiday Parties
This year we are asking that our Holiday parties are geared towards more healthy snacks. Please remember that some students may have peanut allergies, so we ask for nut free snacks as well.
It has been brought to our attention that Head lice has made its round through Linden El. Please take a moment to check each member of the household for live bugs and nits. If live bugs are present the student MUST be treated BEFORE they can return to school. It is very important that each person is retreated in 7 days.
Lost and Found
Please check the lost and found bins in the MPR. Any item remaining will be taken to the Women’s Shelter over Christmas break. We encourage you to write your student name on all jackets, hats, lunch boxes, etc.
Linden Unified School District is in need of substitutes in Food Services, Transportation, and Maintenance. Please log onto to Ed Join for specific job postings.
Linden El Families,
The holidays are around the corner and there is much excitement and anticipation for our young students. Please help us make each day successful for our students by making sure they get enough sleep and are prepared with materials and homework. Mrs. Cowan and teachers are already practicing for holiday performances. Please see the “Important Dates” section of this newsletter for dates and times.
