Enrollment starts March 2-April 3,2020!  Registration Packets are available online at www.lindenusd.com under the News and Announcements section. The required paperwork that is needed is also listed on the website. Packets MUST be complete with all of the requirements to be accepted. Students must turn 5 on or before Sept. 2,2020-Dec.2,2020 to qualify for Kinder.

ELP Closed March 13

ELP is closed Friday, March 13, for staff development.  Please make arrangements for your students’ after school care on that day.

Profits will be earmarked for a New Playground @ Linden El!

      INTRADISTRICT

The LUSD Intradistrict (IDA) application window is currently open. Any family desiring to send their student to a school other than their home school is required to complete and submit the IDA form. Please visit the LUSD website under Parent information to obtain the application form. The IDA application window is open from now until February 28th.

DAD’S DAY

Mark your calendar for Dad’s Day. Immediately following the Friday, March,6 Flag Salute, dads, grandpas, uncles and other special male figures are invited to stop by their student’s classroom and read to your individual student.

              Head lice

 Please remember to inspect your student’s hair for Lice on a weekly basis. Remind children to never share combs,brushes,hats,hairclips,hoodies ect. If lice/nits are seen please notify the office. Your child should be treated with lice shampoo that evening and return to school the following day. A second treatment must be done 7 days after the first application. Read and follow the directions on the shampoo very carefully.

Principals Message                     Census is Coming April1-3

 Let’s ensure all Californians are counted so we can put  resources to good use here at home!  Linden Elementary will provide devices to participate in the Census here at school to those who need one.  More information to follow in future newsletters.  Mark Census dates on your calendar – this is important!

The Linden-Peters Chamber of Commerce plans community events such as the Cherry Festival and the Community Tree Lighting Ceremony, in addition to promoting businesses within the community.  The group is is need of many new volunteers to ensure these events can continue to happen in the future.  If you're interested in helping make Linden even better, please contact Chamber President Paul Brennan at ptbrennan@verizon.net.
